About SupplementTruth

Who we are, why we do this, and how our review process works.

Our Mission

In a market flooded with misleading health claims and paid reviews, SupplementTruth was created with one purpose: to provide honest, evidence-based supplement reviews that consumers can actually trust.

Every product we review is evaluated against published clinical research, ingredient safety profiles, and real-world user data. We don't accept sponsored placements, we don't rank products based on commission rates, and we never hide behind vague disclaimers. You get the truth — backed by science.

Chief Scientific Reviewer & Founder

After spending over 15 years in pharmaceutical research and clinical nutrition, Dr. Sterling noticed a critical gap: consumers had no reliable, independent source for supplement information. Most review sites were either paid placements or shallow summaries with no scientific depth.

In 2024, he founded SupplementTruth to bridge that gap — applying the same rigorous methodology used in pharmaceutical research to the supplement industry. His team now includes registered dietitians, biochemists, and clinical researchers.

Our Review Methodology

01

Ingredient Analysis

We cross-reference every listed ingredient with databases like PubMed, Examine.com, and the National Institutes of Health. We evaluate dosages, bioavailability, and whether clinical evidence supports the claimed benefits.

02

Safety & Compliance Review

We check for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and alignment with FDA, GMP, and third-party testing certifications. Products lacking transparency receive lower trust scores.

03

Competitive Benchmarking

Every product is compared against 3-5 market alternatives on price-per-serving, ingredient quality, dosing efficacy, and user satisfaction metrics.

04

Transparent Scoring

Our Trust Score (1-10) is derived from a weighted formula considering ingredient evidence, safety, transparency, pricing, and real user feedback. The full scoring breakdown is published with every review.
